Recently, AIMO got the opportunity to tour AmericasMart in Downtown Atlanta, GA. Kristie Forbes, an ECU alum, gave us the star treatment allowing us to browse three of the four buildings on its campus. Its called a campus because there is over 7.7 million square feet of selling space. The four buildings are integrated allowing for an average of 880, 000 per building.There are 15 annual marts, which are opportunities for buyers to preview and purchase goods for resale. Each of the It is AMAZING, and something we hope most will have a chance to see. AmericasMart is the largest trade show and trade mart in the world. Americas mart isn't open to the public. Buyers have to provide a valid business license and register in order to browse the premises. They are required to wear badges at all times or risk being escorted out by scary security officers. So, we were excited to have the opportunity to view the mart. Take a look at photos from our experience.
