Well it seems that The Black Eyed Peas will be making a change to their line up very soon. It is reported that when their tour ends at the end of the month, Fergie will no longer be a member of the group. She is said to be taking an indefinite break in order to start a family with her heartthrob husband Josh Duahamel.
I have heard of people taking breaks to start families but come on! Since when are breaks permanent. Anyways, Fergie is such an integral part of the groups dynamic. I mean with out her voice, the songs just aren't as interesting. Well, they aren't that interesting to me. The rest of the BEP's plan to move forward without the multi-talented singer. Now at this point I'm sure that you may be wondering who the replacement is. It had been said that the group's opening act on their tour, Ashanti will be the replacement chica. Mediatakeout has suggested that Ashanti will be the new group member, but that a formal announcement will be made in a couple of days. Talk about drama for your mama! Industry execs have also confirmed that the group has been looking for a replacement for a while. Personally, I think that this is a horrible idea. Any replacement they decide to go with needs to have incredible singing chops. They need to be as good, or better than Fergie's. I just hope that they don't bring former PCD member Nicole whatever her name is...I smell industry grave yard looming for these people. Will you be listening, sans Fergie?
